S...Govertz, brown trout and sea trout are the same. Sea trout is sea run brown trout, but they behave quite differently, even when you´re playing them. Sea trout fresh form the ocean is very agile, he fights really hard for a short time while a brown trout is more likely to save some energy if possible. Both are great fun to catch, there is even difference between brown trout in lakes and rivers, sorry I can´t contain myself. I quit here, tight lines...
Sherryl, thanks for the reading. Im a professional fly fishing guide from Iceland and was guiding in the river Minnivallalækur for few years. What you are missing in your article is that Iceland is the dream place for dry fly fishing. In river minnivallalækur you can catch brown trouts up to 15 lbs on dry flies down to size 22... Good news for foreign fisherman is that Icelandic fisherman never fish dry flies so you can always enter the river like it has been rested for days if you want to fish with your midges.

Great article

PallPall Olafssonhttp://www.pickafly.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36249425.post-2603323832894190732011-10-26T12:39:18.296-07:002011-10-26T12:39:18.296-07:00Fishes are very attracted to bobbers. The pond I fish, a stocked State Wildlife Area, has a perimeter "trench" where I can see the trout. They're just there like couch potatoes now where two weeks ago they took my flies with gusto. Not one of them seem interested in eating. It maybe because the pond is fished out some and the trout left have an abundance of food. Who knows?

RaboonAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36249425.post-70463171177210576442010-06-15T05:30:12.710-07:002010-06-15T05:30:12.710-07:00Hi!
