It's that time of year again, temperatures are dropping and so trout fishing activity is heating up before Winter sets in! Fall is always one of my favorite times to be out fishing. In addition to good trout activity, there's plenty of Fall scenery to enjoy (at least in my neck of the woods).
Trout fishing should continue to improve through October and even the early part of November (depending on where you live). With cooler temperatures trout will be moving closer to the water's surface which offers many advantages to anglers.
Lures, Power Bait, and nightcrawlers are good bets in Fall weather, though you'll still have to experiment to figure out which one works best on a given day.
