J and J’s Grizzly Store and Camping Resort out at Davis Lake (California) is reporting that trout fishing activity is really heating up! Not only are the number of catches improving, but also trout sizes are increasing. Anglers are reporting catching trout in the 20+ inch size.
Try fishing near the surface (and up to 18 feet below). Bank Mallard Cove is a hot spot at the moment. Power Bait and Nightcrawlers have been successful!
